2024-25 Classic Team Trail
Tournament Rules
- Airport Marine or Tournament Director may refuse the right to any tournament entry.
- All prize winners must fill out winner's form including social security number before receiving their check.
- POLYGRAPH WILL BE GIVEN. All prize winners are subject to polygraph test to be given by a licensed tester. (YOU MUST PASS TO WIN)
- Tournament hours will be from safe light (first cast time) to 3:00,3:15 and 3:30 based on registration time. All boats must check-in at the designated site by assigned time.
- There will be NO BLAST OFF. You pay and register the morning of the tournament, then go to your starting spot and begin fishing at the assigned first cast time. You can launch from any ramp on the scheduled lake after checking with the tournament director.
- If launching from a different ramp, you may trailer back to the weigh in. But you must be parked at weigh in site by assigned check in time.
- All contestants must obey all Alabama Water Safety Rules and Alabama Game and Fish Regulations.
- All Contestants must wear a U.S. Coast Guard approved life jacket and have kill switch attached when boat is on pad or above idle speed.
- No alcoholic beverages will be allowed during tournament hours.
- Five (5) fish limit per boat. Only large mouth and spotted bass 12-inch minimum. Short fish below 12-inch will be culled along with biggest fish.
- Only five fish in live well. No culling at the dock or weigh in.
- You may weigh only one dead fish. (No Penalty) But it cannot be weighed for big fish.
- Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult and are considered minors.
- To Qualify for Parent Child division, the child must be 15 years old or younger, must be your child or grandchild unless approved by tournament director.
- You can only enter Parent Child or Mixed Couple. Cannot fish in both divisions, must decide prior to tournament.
- Ties will be combined and split.
- All sight fish must be hooked inside the mouth.
- Artificial lures only, no live bait. No snatching or no trolling.
- Contestants must stay in the boat unless nature calls or inclement weather arises (take Shelter). Any other circumstances must be approved by the tournament director.
- Must be signed up with tournament rewards programs to win Bonus money. Must be signed up at America's First for Bass Cash to win
- If your late to check in, it will result in disqualification.
- Team of the year will be decided by the best 5 regular season tournaments and will be boat #1 and have all entry fees paid in next years trail.
- You can use an alternate partner twice and still receive Angler of the Year points. Alternate's must pay membership.
- BASS Team Championship Qualifiers will be awarded per number of total boats that fished the entire trail. The awards will go to AOY, Classic winner and then all spots will revert to AOY points before Classic.
- Sportsmanship Rule: Any unsportsmanlike behavior during tournament or weigh in hours will be grounds for disqualification from the tournament. Behaviors will be reviewed and ruled on by the tournament committee. This includes but not limited to behaviors like: Hole sitting, reckless boat operation, intentionally snagging fish, etc…
- All protests must be in writing turned into the tournament director before checks are paid.
- All Conditions Arising which are not covered by the above rules will be resolved by the tournament committee. These decisions will be Final.
- Must fish 4 regular tournaments or be in the top 100 in points to fish the classic.
